Marta Domènech is a Doctor Architect, Assistant Professor of Architectural Projects at the School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSAB) and cofounder of the Map13 Barcelona Architectural Association. She held a Master in Advanced Architectural Projects in the school of Architecture of Madrid ( ETSAM – UPM) and is a PhD in Architectural Projects from the UPC.

Both final thesis have been awarded by the Association of Young Architects of Catalonia in the editions of 2012 and 2018.

 

She has been a researcher at the ETH of Zurich and has collaborated with UN Habitat for research on the recovery of the traditional technique of the Catalan vault in the contemporary project. Her work has been widely awarded nationally and internationally, as well as exhibited.

She has participated in numerous workshops with various art institutions such as the Swedish Public Art Agency or the International Art and Construction festival for the exhibition and the approach of architecture to society.
